5. Children’s Data

10. Data Storage, Security, and Retention

We hold personal information across our systems and take all reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss or unauthorised access. Our storage and processing practices include the following.

Storage Platform
Our website and related data-infrastructure are hosted on Squarespace, which provides encrypted hosting, SSL protection and globally distributed server facilities. Squarespace acts as a data processor for the website-visitor and form-submission data we collect via our site. We also maintain recruitment, staffing, client, supplier and internal-system data in secure electronic and/or physical storage within our controlled environment, as well as via approved third-party cloud providers, including those engaged by Squarespace where relevant.

Security Measures
We deploy a range of security controls, including (but not limited to):

  • End-to-end encryption (including SSL/TLS for website traffic)

  • Role-based access to systems and restricted access rights

  • Multi-factor authentication for administrative access to our systems

  • Use of ISO-compliant cloud service providers and regular vulnerability assessments

  • Periodic audits of our systems and partnerships, including those of our website hosting environment

Data Retention:
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for legitimate business or legal purposes:

  • Candidate and placement data: retained for 3 years from last contact or placement activity

  • Client and supplier records: retained for 7 years to meet contractual and legal obligations

  • Marketing and website user data: retained for 2 years, unless you opt out sooner

After expiry, data is securely destroyed using certified electronic deletion or physical shredding methods.

11. Keeping Information Accurate and Up to Date

We take reasonable steps to ensure that personal information is accurate and current. You can update your details at any time by contacting your consultant or accessing your online profile.

If you close your account, Red Earth Talent may retain limited data as required by law (e.g., for taxation or compliance purposes).
